Try out a cool technique with the My Note Die pocket!
Last week, Shannon Smith (FSJ’s Concept Designer) and Ginny Temple (FSJ’s Communications Manager) demonstrated a technique LIVE on our Journey Coach Facebook Group. It was really fun, so we decided to share it with all of you as well.
Reminder: this video was originally aired live on our coach Facebook group on Friday, November 3rd.
Have you ever used the Basic Box Window Plates Die with the My Note Die Set before? The combination really allows you to create adorable projects.
Grab the My Note Die AND the Basic Box Window Plates Die now at 20% off during our Pockets & Lockets promotion.
Let’s check out another fun example.
Use the same technique to create a Holly Jolly Christmas Pocket.
Die the My Note from Candy Apple Cardstock. Then die cut out a Basic Box Window Plate. The word bubble die gives your sentiment a cute “voice.”
Stamp and emboss your sentiment on a Whip Cream Cardstock panel and slide it inside the My Note so it pokes out of the word bubble.
Nope, you are not quite done yet. Your project needs a bit more of a festive touch.
Grab a pattern from the Christmas Cheer Prints – in the Journey Holidays Trends Mini Catalog – and die cut out the same word bubble. Wrap the festive print around your My Note.
Finish with a few embellishments like Silver Journey Thread, Brushed Silver Organza Ribbon and Twinkle Trim.
