Create colorful intricate backgrounds for your paper crafts when you use PanPastels with our stencils. This month’s Media Mix is all about encouraging you to test out different product combinations.
We dare you to play and enjoy 20% off a select list of mixed media items. All of our PanPastel palettes and stencils are included in this list.
Kim Kesti, FSJ’s Design Concept Manager, shows you how to use the soft blendable pigments of PanPastels with our stencils in this Product Spotlight video below.
Note: Use you creative prerogative as you craft. You’ll notice Kim creates her rose in a deeper purple as she demonstrates the PanPastels, while the featured projected has more of a Cool Pool look. It’s the same technique just a different color flow.
In the video above, Kim shows how to layer your colors right on top of each other. They won’t smear. Color in your Dear Rose image as you wish.
Then grab your favorite stencil. Use a darker PanPastel color to transfer the stencil design to the corners of your project drawing the eye towards to the center of your card.
Create an additional focal highlight with spotlight stamping – stamping the middle of your image on a popped layer of cardstock or Color Splash Sheet. Color this piece in with a different PanPastel tone than your background.
Embellish your project with a few Journey Sequins and a dash or two of silk.
