Our Media Mix sales promotion is almost over! Before it ends, grab your favorites at 20% off. Dare to play! Media Mix is all about daring to try out different product combinations. We’ve shown you projects with our PanPastels and with the Journey Gel Press. But have you ever used both PanPastels and the Gel Press for 1 project? …
Kim Kesti is here to show us how it’s done in this Product Spotlight video.
Add the product that you want to see at the front of your design to the Journey Gel Press first. In this case, Kim spreads the Journey Brush Gold PanPastel over the press plate. Then add the Whip Cream Acrylic Paint on top. Use the Brayer to mix the two. Place the stencil onto the Gel Press. Then finally press your cardstock in to transfer the imprint.

Keep crafting with this crazy fun combination!
For this Happy Thanksgiving Card, we’ll use both the Journey Gel Press and PanPastels, but we are going to mix up the technique a bit.
First, start with the background of Fall colors. Mix in Lemon Drop and Citrus Cooler Acrylic Paints onto your Journey Gel Press. Go ahead and press your cardstock panel into this color mixture.
Let your cardstock dry. This time we are going to apply the PanPastels directly to the cardstock. Grab the Hazelnut Blend PanPastel and trace the design of the Chevron stencil over the painted panel.
Complete your project adding the sentiment from the Happy Merry Stamp Set in our Journey Holidays Trends Mini Catalog.
