We love showing you how to use our stamp sets in creative ways. Take out that Magical Unicorn Stamp Set! We are going to put those fun cupcake, donuts, and lollipop accent images to use for this birthday card.
We’ve played with Inkabelle the Unicorn a ton! She is so much fun to craft with. However, this time we are going to leave her to the side for the moment.
Your stamp and die set also includes a small birthday accents. Stamp and die cut a few. Before we add them to a project, let’s create a background fitting of these magical items.
Grab a Clear Block or the non-porous crafting sheet. Flick Cool Pool and Electric Lime Silk into a puddle of water. Then grab a Color Splash Sheet and drag it over the surface of the water to pick up the color. Use a Journey Heat Gun to heat set. This will create a flowing whimsical look for your background, almost as if in a dream state.
Select five of your favorite cardstock colors and punch out a few ¾” circles from each color. Remember, this is the Magical Unicorn set. It’s intended to be playful and dreamlike. Step into a childhood imagination as you organize your colors.
Pop up your punch circles on onto your background. Then add your stamped accents … a cupcake here, a donut there, and maybe a Sweet Candy Drop in between. Your call!
Complete your project with a sentiment and another flick of Cool Pool Silk. The birthday girl or boy will appreciate your extra effort and handmade touch.
