Hello Fun party planners! We are so excited to have you back today because we’re still thinking and planning PARTIES! We love everything party – decorations, cards, cake, favors and well, everything! Do you remember how about Fun Stampers Journey was on the Phoenix local news? [We shared that with you when we discussed our football and unicorn party ideas!] It was so exciting when General Manager Nicole Westervelt went on 12 News to share the love of Fun Stampers Journey. [If you have not watched yet, you can watch it right here!] Now, it’s time to make your party RAWR with dinosaurs.
Isn’t that just fun? We think so! You’ve got great, gender neutral colors with easy elements incorporated. Stars and paper fans are easy to create and embellish to make your party [or project!] exactly what you need. We used dinosaurs, because they are perfect for so many guests of honor and truly, who doesn’t love dinos in party hats?! Let’s take a closer look at some of these details.
You knew we couldn’t resist a close up of this guy, right? He is a perfect decoration, right? Take a scrap of matching cardstock and create a party hat. Easy and super festive!
Okay. A closer look at the cupcake picks — so easy to create, really fun and inexpensive! You can start creating these weeks before the party – and if you do not have time to make the cupcakes at home you can pick some up at the grocery store and pop these in!
Now, we used a chalkboard we had at the Journey Station for the centerpiece. However, you probably have something around your home you could use instead. [Or, maybe the Journey Letter Board!] Because, add a little grass from the Border Details Die Set and the text you need and you have colorful decor! [And don’t you love how the two shades of green really make the who piece feel more tropical with depth?]
See what we mean about the Paper Fans? They are just so fun and festive but really take very little work! Just choose some coordinating colors, cut them out and then layer them in your space. Bonus if you can add in a faux plant for the greenery! [Dinosaurs need greenery, right?]
We positively love the Milk Carton as a way to give party favors! Fill the base with small toys or candy – and make sure the bigger pieces stick out the opening. Now, you have treats your guests will be excited about and before they take them home, they make a really cute part of your decor.
Do you create decor for your parties? What is your favorite thing to create or something you often make? Make sure you share with us on our Facebook page or by using the #funstampersjourney hashtag on Instagram, we’d love to see your take on this or ANYTHING FSJ.
