Let’s have a little fun today! Let’s share a beautifully contrasting card with the heat embossing technique, which is so interesting visually AND texturally, as well.
Where to begin? Don’t you just love the pattern mixing and the great color combo with our Bushel & A Peck stamp set? Or, are you as smitten with the heat embossing as we are?
Let’s heat emboss that colander before we put the card elements all together.
The first step is to stamp the colander on the Whip Cream cardstock with Clear Pigment ink. Now, the fun begins! You will sprinkle with Journey Silver Embossing Powder, shake off excess, and heat with Journey Heat Gun until powder is melted. You will allow the image to cool then die-cut with the Amaze die-cutting machine (or detail cut around outside of image with Details Pro Shears).
With your heat embossing complete, you can finish stamping the other elements then move onto layering the various elements on top of the card base. You’ll want to make sure to pop up a piece from the card using our Foam Squares to create fun dimension. (We popped up the salt and pepper shakers)
We are loving the finished product – we love the layers and all of the fun embellishments that make this card really special.
