Have you tried our Steel Rule Dies? Do you have a favorite? We think they are all amazing and beautiful designs and we love using them to create all kinds of different projects – including beautiful cards like this one.
Don’t the Journey Serifs alphabet dies look perfect on this card? It makes a great sentiment, but is classic enough to not take away from any of the embellishments on the card. It allows every last bit to shine, including the embossed background, right? Would you like to know how this sentiment was created?
To create the sentiment you will line a sheet of Whip Cream Cardstock with a sheet of White Liner Sheet. Cut out squares the size of each letter of the Journey Serifs and cut the letters for the word LOVE three different times using your Journey Platinum Machine. You will peel the backing off and stack the letters on top of each other to create a heavier weight chipboard like letter. This is so cool!
The fun doesn’t stop there! We love the Snap Accents lined up at the bottom against the Simply Gold Washi Tape. It creates a playful base for the sentiment (Journey Serif L O V E letters) to rest upon. And the Twinkle Trim? It coordinates perfectly and adds just the right amount of sparkle, don’t you think?
Of course, the card all came together so lovely, but the Fashion Gold placed on the L and the E is just the right touch. It adds a simple amount of bling that is not too much.
